Admiralty
Any dispute brought before a judge of the high court and/or a court martial in exercise of Admiralty Juris-diction on matters arising
on the high seas, or in te-rritorial waters, or upon any lake or other navigable inland waters of Kenya.
The procedure will be the same as in the High Court of England and shall be exercised in conformity with international law and the commity of nations.
The applicable statutes are Constitution of Kenya (cap.1), The Merchant Shipping Act(cap.389), The Civil Procedure Act(cap.21),The Judicature Act (cap.8) and Supreme Court Act(1981) of England
